So last Friday, I rushed to Time Square right after work. Earlier that day, I payed TKS a visit to check whether I can get a cheaper-"tonight's performance" ticket for my much anticipated Les Miserables click--unfortunately, they didn't have any.
So after a grueling but somehow entertaining rush-hour subway bout (there was a guy with a guitar performing in the train!), I reached Broadhurst Theatre. As expected, there were no available seats for that night--they actually had $30 standing-room tickets, but who would want to stand for 3 hours while fighting for a good view against people who are genetically made to be taller than you?
So I opted to try getting the next day ticket--it was the plan after all. So finally, after a couple of weeks, I got one...
$111.25, 8th row in the center aisle; It is an awesome seat.
It was indeed a great show, everything I was looking forward to. I should say though that it took great pains to contain myself from trying to sing along as the show went-on.
